Lives of the First World War

The Australian Attestation Papers state that William was born in Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia, it also states that he is a naturalised British Born Citizen. The Morayshire Roll of Honour states that he was born in the village of Findhorn, Scotland which is more likely to be the case as his parents still resided in Scotland at the time of his death and so did his brothers. I have altered his profile accordingly. Also his family grave stone at Dyke, Forres, Morayshire states that he was killed in action in 1916. This is incorrect as he was Killed in Action on the 5 May 1917. A photograph of the family grave is attached to his profile.
