Liverpool Echo, "Lieut. R. Ellison Dies From Wounds."

Lieutenant Ronald Ellison, the well-known university athlete and captain nof the Liverpool University Rugby football team, died in hospital in London yesterday from wounds. Lieutenant Ellison, who was the son of Councillor R. Ellison, of St. Helens, had a distinguished career as a law student at the university. He joined the Royal Field Artillery at the beginning of the war, and was severely wounded with shrapnel. After much suffering he passed away yesterday.
