Attended Sherborne School (The Green) September 1912-July 1916; 6th form; Prefect; Head of House; 1st XV rugby football team 1915. Attended Sandhurst. WW1, 2nd Lieutenant in the King's Shropshire Light Infantry, 1st Bn. (Commissioned from Sandhurst). Killed at Cambrai, France, on 21 March 1918.
