Stuart, R.E., Portland Castle, Portland, Dorset; brother of Pascoe William Grenfell Stuart (1868-1954). Married Elizabeth Sutherland Markham, daughter of A. Macaualey Markham, I.C.S. Attended Royal School, Dungannon; Skryne Rectory, Navare. Attended Sherborne School (Abbeylands) January 1881-December 1882. WW1, Major in the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. Deputy Assistant Quartermaster-General to General Burn-Murdoch. Died on active service of heart failure on 23 December 1916.
