The entry in the Goole Times Illustrated Almanack reads: "Arthur Hartmann, Northumberland Fusiliers, Leeds; nephew of Mr. H. C. F. Hartmann, J.P., and Mrs. Webster, Boothferry Road, Goole; March 21, 1918." 'Mrs Webster' is the sister of Arthur's mother, Alice, nee Chester.
