Frederick Michael (Michel) Masterman
He enlisted with the 13th Regiment, Canadian Mounted Rifles on the 1st February 1915. After arriving in England he transferred to the 3rd Battalion, Royal Irish Rifles and then switched to the 10th Battalion. He was killed on the first day of the Battle of the Somme. He is remembered on the Thiepval memorial.
