From Birmingham Daily Post - 29 June 1915 The body of Lionel Hemingway, Bromsgrove, Birmingham, a member of the Royal Anglesey Royal Engineers, Special Reserve, who, with Private Hill, was drowned on May 9 by the capsizing of a boat in which they and others were sailing off Beaumaris, was found near Beaumaris on Saturday night and brought ashore. At the inquest yesterday, the jury returned a verdict of "Accidentally drowned". In the presence of the father, mother and many sympathisers, deceased was buried with military honours. He was buried in the same grave as his comrade.
