Item published in the magazine "We were glad to see Pte Wm Wilson home again for a short while ago after his long and trying illness from an accidental wound in France. Though still lame, he was looking wonderfully well and we all hope that in time he will make a complete recovery. After passing through two battles and charges, he had specially hard luck in being hit 'in the house of his friends' ".
