COOPER,- In affectionate remembrance of Pte Squire Cooper, 10th K.O.Y.L.I., the beloved husband of Dorothy Cooper, who was killed in action in France, July 1st 1916, aged 33 years. He served his country and did his duty well, Fearless and true until the day he fell; He proved to all in his young life's short span, That he was both a soldier and a man. He sleeps not in his native land, But 'neath some foreign skies: And far from those who love him best, But in a hero's grave he lies.
