My mum (age 93) confirms that her mother's brother, CSM Alfred Dymott, serving with the (7th Queens Own) Hussars, died of disease in Mesopotamia during WW1 and is commemorated on the war memorial in Karachi. The memorial records his service number as H/883 and that he died on 11 7 1918. Also recorded as CSM A Dymott Sapper Actions
