Two sons of Elizabeth Nutbrown nee Caldecutt and William Nutbrown served in the Great War. In descending age order, they served as:- 83567 Private William Henry Nutbrown of the Machine Gun Corps; and 29513 Private Albert Edward Nutbrown of the 17th (Service) Battalion (1st City) the King's (Liverpool Regiment). Albert Edward Nutbrown was killed in action in the Arras sector of the Western Front on 17 February 1917. He was 22. BOTH SONS ARE COMMEMORATED ON THIS SITE
