PEAT INN Killed In Action,— Private James Brown, 2nd Cameron Highlanders, was killed in action on 29th April. He was the son of Mr Jas. Brown, tailor and clothier, Peat Inn, and served bis apprenticeship with Mr Stewart, blacksmith, here. Private Brown was 20 years of age. Intimation has also been received at Peat Inn that Andrew Anderson, formerly a farm servant at Larennie, and who enlisted on St James’s market day at Cupar in August, has been killed in action;. His mother resides in St Andrews.
