Lives of the First World War

He went away to the war when my grandfather was just 2, granddad never knew his own father as he did not return. Frank died on the first day of the battle of the Somme, I have researched this extensively (I just which I could see a picture of him!) and have just had the pleasure of visiting his memorial in thiepval, France. RIP frank (great grand pop) xx
