Private M2/229634, Royal Army Service Corps, 39th Auxiliary Petrol Company. Died of pneumonia on 27/02/19, aged 29. Named in the Memorial Chapel at St Annes Parish Church and on the memorial in Ashton Gardens and buried at Dieppe, Janval Cemetery, Plot II, Grave K5. Charles was the son of Susannah & William Dennison of 2 Stanley Villas, 26 St Annes Rd East and the brother of Ernest and Thomas Dennison, who were also killed in the war. He was one of 10 siblings living. In 1901, Charles at 43 Nelson St St Annes with parents. Later he married Ethel and we believe he moved to London where he became a Domestic Chauffer. Ethel Dennison, of 50 Kenway Rd, Earls Court, London was named as his next of kin on the CWG data base.
