John Albert was the son of Mr. J. Rosher, of Gas House Lane, Needham Market, where he was living, then aged 13 at the time of the 1901 Census. His father, Jonathan, was a Coal Carter. Also present was his mother, Isabella, brothers Charles, 12, Ernest, 10, and sisters Grace, 8, Emma, 6 and two month old Mary.
