SS Kapurthala

The British India Steam Navigation Company originally operated the Kapurthala from 1887. In 1913 she was under the parent company P&O. During late February 1919 George Hunt's battalion was ordered to join the British Army of Occupation in Turkey and on 7th March 1919 sailed from Salonika aboard HMS Kapurthala for the Dardanelles. SS Kapurthala was scrapped in Bombay in 1923.
