PTE PERCY JOHN MOSTON, killed in action, was the son of Mr and Mrs Moston, 84 Arbourhay Street. Twenty-one years of age, Pte Moston enlisted in the South Lancs Regt about two years ago. He was wounded a little over a year ago, and on going to France again he was gassed. After a period of convalescence in England he was again drafted out to France and attached to the Machine Gun Corps. Pte Moston was educated at Daybrook Street School and attended the Parish Church. Prior to enlistment he was employed by Mr Braddock, wholesale confectioner.
