PITTENWEEM, DEATH OF WOUNDED SOLDIER.—lntimation has been received by Mr Wm. Westwood. Pittenweem, that his youngest son, Lance-Corporal David Bruce Westwood, 2nd K.O.S.B.., has succumbed from the effects of pneumonia in Wharncliffe War Hospital, Sheffield, where he was admitted eight months ago, suffering from a bullet in the left wrist. Enlisting in the Fife and Forfar Yeomanry at the outbreak of hostilities. Lance Corporal Westwood had seen much service the Western front, he having been wounded three times. Deceased prior to enlistment was a grocer in the employ of Mr Burns, Kirkcaldy.
