MONTROSE MAN SUCCUMBS TO WOUNDS. Trooper Fenton M'Kenzie, Fife and Forfar Yeomanry, who was seriously wounded at the Dardanelles on the 7th inst., has succumbed to his wounds. Last week intimation was received that he had been removed to Alexandria dangerously ill. He was the third son of the late Mr William M'Kenzie, Academy Park Flour Mills, Montrose, and one of six brothers with the colours, another of whom —Private G. S. S. M'Kenzie, 2d Rifle Brigade, who came from Canada to enlist, was reported killed last week. The deceased served through the South African War, and possessed a medal and five clasps. He was married.
