Official information has been received by Mr and Mrs Steele, 104 Hart St, Southport, that their son Pte W L Steele of the Kings (Liverpool) Regiment, has died from wounds in France. Previous to joining the colours, Pte Steele was employed by the firm of Outrams Ltd, having been with them for nine years.
