Lives of the First World War

Arthur Henry Daniels was born in 1895 in Alkham, Kent. He lived with his parents, four brothers and two sisters. He worked as a Farm Labourer before enlisting at the start of the war. It is thought he lost his life in the battle of the Ancre. This battle started on the evening of the 17th/18th November, the weather had turned cold with snow and rain and he was killed in action twenty two weeks after he had lost his brother Edwin. He lies in the Regina Trench Cemetery, Grandcourt, France.
