At the time of the 1901 and 1911 censuses, the family were living at Sparkhill, Yardley, Worcestershire - on both occasions Richard Harold is recorded as Harold. Richard Harold's grandfather, Samuel Paddock, was born on 14 Oct 1840 at Blakenhall, Staffordshire (baptised 20 Oct, St Peter's RC, Bloxwich, Walsall).
