Hassall Family from Leek, Staffordshire (William and Eliza)

This is the family of William and Eliza Hassall (nee Bowcock), living in Leek, Staffordshire. William was a soldier in the late 1800's, and according to family stories, was a volunteer in the First World War. They had 9 children, 2 or whom died in childhood, but 4 of whom fought in World War 1 - Edwin, Horace, Harold and William. Horace by this stage was living in Manchester, but Edwin, Harold and William (son) are listed on the Ball Haye Green war memorial. The whole family survived the war.
