Rossendale Free Press 1/03/1916 has an article with photo "RAWTENSTALL TRAM DRIVER - PRISONER OF WAR IN GERMANY Corporal A.W Riley resided at 21 Rockcliffe Street Rawtenstall up to being called up as a reservist in the Lancashire Fusiliers on August 4th 1914 ……." 3. F. Warwick is a known local Tram Conductor (see attached Life Story) and included here pending further research although "E. WARWICK" is recorded on the Memorial.
