Page 118 - The National Publishing Company. Citation reads: EVANS, W. H., Private, 2nd East Surrey Regiment. Volunteering in September 1914 he was immediately drafted to the Western Front. After taking part in several engagements he was reported missing, presumed killed in action, at the second Battle of Ypres April 1915. He was entitled to the 1914 Star and the General Service and Victory Medals. 120, Lincoln Road, Ponder's End. 11422
