Title: Letter written to older brother, Summer 1917

Description: Older brother William is farming the family farm, short of labour. Other brother Joe is an annual farm labourer - if he cannot find work for the winter he will be conscripted. Joe's wife is pregnant with their first baby, due in Oct 1917 (my Dad). Tom admits that his old farm horse, Polly, may have to go (probably be shot). Tom always sends kisses to his neice and nephew.
