Part of Fred's brother's WillThe family actually lived at 120 St John's Road (sometimes called Sunny Bank or Grantham), and not 119 as the census apparently has it. They lived at the shop at 45 Calverley Road, Tunbridge Wells, and the house in St John's was built by Fred's father in 1903. The house remained in the family until only Fred and his sister Marjorie were left there and moved (I think) in the late 1940s. For a period of some years in the early part of the century the family let 120 St John's Road out and lived at 12 Upper Grosvenor Road, Tunbridge Wells. The High Brooms address given elsewhere on this site refers to the wrong Fred Noakes.Contributed by:
