Autopsy notesThis image was obtained from a notebook containing preliminary autopsies performed by my grandfather, a laboratory technician present at Bramshott hospital during the 1918 influenza epidemic. Eventually he stopped recording influenza as the cause of death as it because obvious that that was what they all were.
