Photo c1910Born Gt. Harwood, Lancashire 1883. Parents Robert & Sarah nee Rushton. Known siblings; (older) Mary, William, Jane, Ada & Thomas, (younger) Herbert & Henry. He was with his family in Gt. Harwood on Census Day 1891 & 1901. By 1901 he was a cotton weaver. He married Margaret Edmundson 14 Nov. 1907. A son, Henry, was born in 1908. Their other children were; Hubert bn. 13 Feb. 1911 & Robert bn. 27 Sep. 1912. On Census day 1911 Robert, Margaret, Henry & Hubert lived at 65 Clayton St. Gt Harwood. Robert was still a cotton weaver. Henry died shortly after this Census. continued below ...
