Lives of the First World War

Percy Gilbert Viney was born in 1881 in Headley, Hampshire. His parents had four sons and three daughters. He worked as a Bricklayer in 1911. He joined The Grenadier Guards as a Guardsman and died on the 25th September 1916. He lies in The Guards Cemetery, Lesboeufs, France and his grave inscription reads ‘Their Glory Shall Not Be Blotted Out’.
