Death of Alfred Edward Hodges

Alfred was living at 154 HighStreet, Ramsgate, Kent. He was serving as an Able Seaman RN on HMS Raglan, a Royal Navy Abercrombie-class monitor, which was sunk during the Battle of Imbros in the Eastern Mediterranean on 20th January 1918. Alfred was 22 when he died and is remembered on Chatham Naval Memorial.
