The England & Wales Births record gives her first name as Christina. It is variously rendered as Christinia and Christiana in her first two census returns. ( And there's no trace of a middle name in any of these: the apparent middle initial J in 1891 looks like a slip of the surname.) The 1901 census return, written in a good hand, names her as Christina. She probably just preferred to be known as Christine, and enlisted as such.
