A ST ANDREAN KILLED AT THE DARDANELLES. Able Seamen James G. Alexander, Nelson Battalion, N.R.V.R.[RNVR], son of Mr and Mrs Robert Alexander, 11 Fleming Plaoe, St Andrews, reported missing several weeks ago at the Dardanelles, has now been reported by the Admiralty as having been killed in action. Before enlisting, he was a clerk in the passenger booking office at St Andrews Station. He was educated at the Burgh School and Madras College, and was promising well in his business. He was only 19 years of age. Mr and Mrs Alexander have another son in the Royal Field Artillery, and Mr Alexander is himself serving in the National Reserve.
