The Northampton Mercury carried the following report on the death of Capt. Grenville: The Baroness Kinloss, of Stowe House, Buckingham, on Tuesday, received intimation that her eldest son, Caption Richard Morgan Grenville (Master of Kinloss, 1st Battalion Rifle Brigade, has been killed in action. He had twice previously been wounded, and each time was able to rejoin his regiment. The sad news of his death has created a heavy gloom in the district. He was exceedingly popular.
